Terms of sale

Nothing is for sale yet
These terms apply from the day the shop opens. They are published now so you can read them before you are asked to agree to anything.
Who you are buying from
Clearpath Goods LLC, a Maryland limited liability company, trading as Meema. Registered at 10421 Kardwright Ct, Gaithersburg, MD 20886. You can reach a person at hello@meema.food.
These terms cover buying. Using the website is covered by our terms of use, and what we do with your data is in the privacy notice.
Placing an order
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract starts when we email you to confirm it, not when you press the button. If we cannot accept an order we will tell you why and refund you in full.
We may decline an order. Reasons are dull and few: we have run out, we cannot deliver to you, or the price was wrong on the page.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars and are the prices shown at checkout on the day you order. A single bottle is $24, shipping within the United States included — the price you see is the price you pay, and no line you have not already seen appears on the last screen. Packs are priced as shown on the site.
Any sales tax we are required to collect is added at checkout.
If we list a price wrongly we will contact you before doing anything. You can pay the right price or cancel and be refunded.
Delivery is covered in shipping and returns, which forms part of this contract.
Pre-orders, and when you are charged
There is one harvest a year. A pre-order reserves oil that does not exist yet, which is why we say so plainly.
Charged now. Ships in the US early 2027 — we email you the week it leaves. Cancel any time before it ships, no questions.
You are charged when you order, not when it ships. That funds the December press. In return you can cancel at any point before your bottles leave, for any reason, and get everything back.
If you cancel a pre-order before it ships, we refund everything you paid, to the card you paid with, within 30 days.
If we cannot ship on time
If we cannot ship by the date we gave you, we will email you, tell you the new date, and offer you the choice: wait, or cancel and take a full refund. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.
We will not hold your money and hope. A harvest can fail, a shipment can be held at a port, and if either happens you will hear it from us before you have to ask.
Delivery
We ship to the United States only. Once your order has left, it is yours — but see the next section, because that is not the same as you carrying the risk of a courier dropping it.
Dispatch times, postage and everything else about delivery are in shipping and returns, and those terms form part of this contract.
If it arrives broken or it is not right
Send us a photograph. We will replace the bottle or refund it, whichever you prefer, and you do not send the broken one back.
If the oil itself is not right, tell us. That is a different conversation and we will make it right. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under law that cannot be signed away.
Changing your mind
Unopened bottles can come back within 30 days of delivery. Write to us first, post them back at your own cost, and once they arrive we refund what you paid for those bottles. Return postage is yours; the outbound delivery was already made and is not deducted.
Opened bottles cannot come back. It is food, and we cannot sell it to anyone else. If something is wrong with the oil itself, that is a different conversation: tell us and we will make it right, at no cost to you.
Cancelling a pre-order before it ships is different again: you get everything back.
Looking after it
One ingredient: extra virgin olive oil. Keep it cool and dark. Do not refrigerate it. Use it before the date on the bottle — oil is not improved by being saved.
What we are responsible for
We are responsible for loss you suffer because we broke this contract or failed to take reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses we could not have expected when you ordered.
We do not limit anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland and the United States. Claims can be brought in the courts of Maryland.
Changes
We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published on the day you placed it, and we keep a copy.
