Shipping & returns
Last updated 2026
Nothing has shipped yet
The oil is picked in December. Nothing is for sale here until then. The policy below is settled. The exact postage is not, because we have not weighed a packed box yet. We would rather leave that gap than invent a number you would be charged.
Where we ship
The United States, from early 2027. One country, done properly, beats five done badly.
Somewhere else? Write to hello@meema.food and we will tell you honestly when we can reach you.
When it arrives
There is one harvest a year. The olives are picked in December 2026 and pressed the same week. The pallet is imported into the United States and bottles go out early 2027. We email you the week yours leaves.
After that, orders go out once a week. Yours leaves on the next run after you order, and you get a tracking number when it does.
One person does the run. That is slower than a warehouse and it is the honest answer.
What it costs
Shipping within the United States is included in the price. One number, no surprise on the last screen.
It costs us real money to get a glass bottle to your door safely, and we would rather build that in honestly than advertise a lower price and add it back at checkout.
If it arrives broken
Glass and couriers disagree sometimes. Send us a photograph and we will replace the bottle or refund it. You choose which, and you do not send the broken one back.
If you change your mind
Unopened bottles can come back within 30 days of delivery. Write to us first, then post them back at your own cost. Once they arrive we refund what you paid for those bottles; return postage is yours.
Opened bottles cannot come back. It is food, and we cannot sell it to anyone else. If something is wrong with the oil itself, tell us — that is a different conversation and we will make it right, at no cost to you.
Pre-orders are different: cancel any time before your bottles ship and everything comes back.
